Frequently asked questions

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

  • How does packaging affect the brand experience?

  • Packaging is often the first physical encounter with the brand - it creates trust, emotion and impression
    who are still in place.

  • What do you offer for the hotel industry?

  • We produce information banners, menus, door hangers, conference material and other printed communication for
    hotels and spas.

  • Can you create printed contract binders for the property sector?

  • Yes - we produce contract binders, intake folders, giftware and carrier bags for estate agents.

  • Can you develop unique solutions for campaigns or PR kits?

  • Absolutely.
We have extensive experience in creating influencer boxes and PR kits customised for unboxing experiences
    visually, functionally and logistically.

  • Do you have any standard formats?

  • We have standard formats for binders and folders.

When it comes to boxes, we often have tools left over from previous productions, but since the wishes for boxes vary so much, we have no standard formats but tailor the boxes to your wishes. If you want to use the format from a previous production, you can contact one of our project managers and they will help you. You then avoid the cost of that tool.

  • What is the smallest or largest thing you can do in format?

  • The minimum volume is 1 piece.

We can make all our products in the volume you want. What you need to consider is that it often needs to be produced different tools and prints or clichés regardless of whether the volume is 1 or 10,000. This, together with a start-up cost, makes the unit price of making 1 copy very high compared to making, for example, 1,000 pcs.

  • How can we make our gift boxes stand out?

  • We offer a wide range of materials, surface effects and printing techniques - such as embossing, foiling, textured
paper and specialised designs. Together we will find the right expression for your brand.

  • What is the difference between designer paper and tissue?

  • Designer paper can be coloured and textured, while fabric gives a more textile, exclusive feel - e.g. linen look.

  • What is a groove, a zip, or a big?

  • In order to fold thicker cardboard, it needs to be processed to avoid cracking or breaking.

Find out more at the link below.

  • What is the difference between laminate, lacquer and foil?

  • Laminate provides a protective surface (glossy/matt), lacquer adds lustre to selected surfaces, foiling adds a metallic finish - often
    gold/silver.

  • How big - How small can a pack be?

  • We don't really have any limitations when it comes to manual labour, but when it comes to fully/semi-automatic production (usually for larger volumes), the machines to be used have their dimensional limitations both in terms of small and large.

We have several different ways to go in a production and of course choose the one that suits your product. Get in touch with us.

  • Which material is best suited for heavier products?

  • Clad boxes with a stable core and textured paper or fabric are often best for heavy or exclusive
    products.

  • How does the choice of materials affect durability and longevity?

  • Textured and coated materials are more resistant to moisture, dirt and wear, extending their lifespan.

BEFORE PRODUCTION

  • Can I see your products live on the website?

  • We have an extensive showroom in Länna (Lyftkransvägen 14, Skogås) where we also have a lot of products that are not on the website. Contact us to book a meeting. Unfortunately, we cannot accept drop-in visits.

  • What do I need to know before contacting you?

  • We can help you with most of the pieces, but you need to know what to pack and have a measurement of the product, the rest we can solve together.

Contact one of our project managers and they will help you. Of course, it is an advantage if you have as much information as possible to speed up production.

  • What happens after the offer is accepted?

  • We start with the production of a 3D visualisation or white sample and establish a production basis. An order confirmation is then sent.

  • How long does it take to go from idea to finished product?

  • Usually between 6-10 weeks depending on the scope of the project. For quick decisions we offer
3D visualisations to complement physical prototypes.

  • Which surfaces can be pressed?

  • You can print on most substrates, it's usually a matter of having the right printing method for the right material.

When it comes to colour printing, you need a white substrate, as all coloured substrates "share" their colour in the print. In other words, if you print on a light green paper, it will be as if you apply light green to all your colours and darker colours such as red will be black. If you are printing on a coloured surface, foil and screen printing or UV printing are suitable if you print a white plate under the actual surface the print will be on. The same applies depending on the thickness of the substrate. If you need help, it is easiest to contact us and we can guide you in the right direction.

  • How do you help us think strategically about presentation and content?

  • We make sure that design, construction and content work together and support your purpose - whether it's
    gifting, selling or branding.

  • What materials can you use on your product?

  • If you are making a clad product, you can clad it with almost anything that is flexible. We have a huge library in our showroom with different materials, if you have the opportunity, you are welcome to book an appointment to see what you can choose from.

  • Template for my packaging, to place artwork in?

  • When it comes to binders and folders, we have a number of ready-made templates in PDF form that you can use to put your artwork on. We then check that everything is as it should be before breaking it down into the various parts needed for a production.

If you want a product that we do not have a template for, we will create a template for you and can also make a mockup in a rotatable 3D file so you can see that everything is as intended. Contact a project manager and they will help you with what you need.

  • Can you help us choose the design and materials?

  • Absolutely.

We guide you based on product, purpose, emotion and budget to find the right solution.

  • Do you make dummies?

  • Answer.

For larger productions, we usually bid on it to ensure that everything is right. For smaller or cancelled productions, we need to charge for the time and materials we put into creating a dummy.

  • Can you adapt the packaging to our graphic profile?

  • Answer.
    - we take your brand as a starting point and make sure that colours, fonts and expressions are in line with your identity.

  • Can we see proofs before full production?

  • Answer.
We can produce proofs or mockups to ensure that colour, shape and effects match
    expectations.

  • What file formats do we need to submit for printing?

  • We prefer to work with print-ready PDFs (CMYK) with bleed and punch line. If you do not have this, we can help
to develop the right original material together with you.
