Designing my packaging
Developing the design and construction of a package can be done in several different ways.
-
Can you help us develop the design for the packaging?
We offer both turnkey solutions where we create the design and construction from scratch, and collaborate with your existing agency or in-house designer. We always ensure that the end result works technically and visually. We adapt to how you want to work, i.e. we can produce templates and dummies that you then apply your artwork to, we can do everything or only certain selected parts. Feel free to use us as a sounding board if you have the slightest thought, we know what works and what does not. What files do we need to submit?
We prefer to receive print-ready originals in PDF format (CMYK), 1:1 scale with bleed and correct die-cut line. If you don't have this, we can help you prepare the material - you may need to send us logos, fonts, images, colour codes and other graphic guidelines. Can you create a unique design for our brand?
Absolutely. We specialise in creating unique, branded solutions. Our designs are always based on your goals and values, whether it's an exclusive feel or a playful communication you want to achieve. Is it possible to combine several surface effects?
Yes, you can combine foiling, embossing, partial UV varnish, textured paper and laminates - but it requires careful planning. We help you find the right balance between expression, cost and production technology options.- What's the difference between printing on cardboard and plain packaging?
Cardboard packaging is often printed directly on the surface. Clad (hard) packaging is expressed through a surface layer - such as a printed paper, design paper or fabric - which offers different possibilities for texture, colour and feel. Can we have a sketch or visualisation before we decide?
Yes, we do. We offer both sketches and 3D visualisations to help you make an informed decision before production starts. In most cases, we also produce a dummy to ensure that everything fits together as it should. When it comes to packaging and interior design, it is of the utmost importance that everything fits so that the product feels genuine and exclusive.
