FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT BINDERS

What is the difference between a collection binder and a standard binder?
It's still the same product, but a collection binder tends to contain different collections of products and interiors, whereas a standard binder usually has a metal mechanism that holds punched documents.

In a collection binder, it is also common to glue the interior, which in turn holds the product in place.
Can binders be made with special fittings, such as compartments, cassettes, etc.?
Yes, absolutely.

You can combine a binder with other packaging/decor in many ways. Glue a box inside the binder and it becomes a binder box (also called Box in Binder). Glue a decor to the inside and you have a display binder. Add magnets, lifting straps, etc. It can be developed in many ways. Talk to our skilled project managers and they will guide you right.

What are the options for covers (e.g. fabric, foil, offset printing)?
All our products with a cardboard core can be covered with almost anything that is pliable and most of the effects you can add to a printed product, you can also add to a binder.

A binder can also be made from materials such as plastic, aluminium and wood, or pure cardboard.
Are there any suggestions for useful jigs or templates to use?
We have ready-made templates in a number of standard formats such as A5 and A4 in different thicknesses and spine variants. Contact us and we will make sure you get a template that fits your binder.

If we don't have the template ready, we can quickly create a new template for you in your own format.
