UV varnish/printing
is a type of transparent or coloured liquid coating that is applied to surfaces and then cured immediately by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light.
This process creates a highly durable and often high-gloss finish. One of the advantages of UV varnish is that it can be applied precisely where you want it, even in small volumes.
Used as a finishing technique on paper, plastic, glass and metal to improve both appearance and durability.
- Aesthetics:
Provides a smooth, often super-glossy finish that can make colours and design elements stand out. Spot UV varnishing can be used to accentuate specific parts of a print, such as a logo. - Sustainability:
The hardened coating provides superior resistance to scratches, moisture and chemicals compared to traditional varnish. It also protects the underlying material from the harmful effects of UV radiation.
