Gmund Colors Matt
Premium coloured paper with a matte finish which emphasises pure colour, a calm expression and excellent printing properties. The colour is dyed throughout the paper, ensuring an even tone even at the edges and when bent.
Features:
- Wide colour palette: Approximately 50+ shades, ranging from subtle neutral colours to bold, saturated colours.
- Surface area: matt and finely structured, with very low gloss.
- pH neutral/acid-free: also suitable for long-term archiving applications.
- Universal machining: Compatible with offset, digital printing, letterpress, screen printing, blind embossing, foil embossing, laser cutting and other finishing techniques.
- Low ink absorption capacity: Thorough drying and proper coverage are recommended for optimal results.
Press recommendations (in brief):
- Offset: screen printing up to ~80 l/cm, match the print with the paper colour, thorough drying.
- Laser/inkjet: 100 g/m² is compatible with standard desktop printing (we recommend testing before printing).
- Further processing: Spot effects and techniques such as foil or blind embossing significantly enhance the final design.
Usage:
Works excellently for premium packaging, tubes, corporate printing, business cards, invitations and catalogues, where it is important that colour and paper communicate harmoniously, without distracting reflections.
